Another Cuff-to-Cuff Variation
from Chrisanne G.

Chrisanne took off in her own direction to knit her Cuff-to-Cuff sweater. The original design is by Sue Esser, and was an Ample-Knitters group project in 2004.

Here are Chrisanne's notes: “ I finished my second Noro Silk Garden C2C cardi last night, and I'm wearing it as I type! The first one was in color #50 (very bright), and this one is in #45 (discontinued color--mostly pastel-ish). These were both to the same design (my own--adaptations of about 3 other patterns, with changes to size and gauge). Why two? Well, I loved the first one, got lots of compliments on it when I wore it, and wanted one that was not so 'strong' in color.

Chrisanne's version is a garter stitch cardi, with a generous 60” circumference, about 31” in length. Her gauge with the Silk Gardern was 4 stitches to the inch. Chrisanne wanted me to let everyone know that she really doesn't have a left arm that is 3" shorter than the right, and the sleeves are same length; she just didn't realize that she had her cardigan on a bit crooked! She also wrote that this yarn had already been two other sweaters she didn't like and frogged. She jokes, “Silk Garden must also include about 3% steel!”

Chrisanne wanted to send a special thanks to list member Ann Cornelier, whom she writes generously gave her enough Silk Garden #45 to finish!
