Debi Leshin’s Cable Tee
with Mock Cable Twist Rib

Debi knit this sweater in her first KAL (knit-along) on Ample-Knitters, participating in the Cable Tee project. She sent photos of her Rowan “Calmer” Tee, apologizing for the quality of her photos, saying that she thinks maybe her photographer needs a raise! Debi promised to send better photos when she gets some taken, but I wanted to go ahead and feature the sweater in the gallery because even with the fuzziness of the photo, it's obvious that it fits Debi really well. The mock cable twist rib is a neat addition too.

Debi details what she did for her sweater: “I used 9 skeins of Rowan Calmer (DK weight) in the color 'Chiffon' on a #7 Addi Turbo circular. I made the 2x size with slight modifications in the sleeves which Pat helped me with to accommodate my extra fluffy arms! I also changed the rib on the bottom of the body and sleeves to a mock cable twist rib. I added a selvage stitch to each piece for ease in finishing. It took me about a month to complete and I love the fit!”
