The Ample-Knitters are starting a KAL (Knit-A-Long) in March 2004, knitting a beautiful jacket, “Folly,” designed by Jillian Moreno for knitty.com, a wonderful online knitting quarterly. ( Click for Full View of Sweater.)
The free pattern for Folly appears in the Winter 2003 issue of knitty. After hearing that we would be doing this project as a knit-along, Jillian added extended sizing for us. The sweater is now available in sizes L through XXXXL, with finished measurements from 43 to 67 inches. She also included a schematic drawing for the sweater construction.
