More Textured Sweaters from Maureen Taylor

Maureen writes, ”The Celtic Knot sweater was designed using the two smaller knots from Alice Starmore's St. Ciaran Shawl in the book Aran Knitting along with a braid and a cable. I used short rows in the braided neck to get a better fit. It is knitted in Rowanspun Aran that I purchased in Liberty's of London when I shopped with London AKers Yvonne and Dawn, so it will always bring special memories when I wear it.”

And here's Maureen in another sweater she designed herself.

About this one, she says, “this one is in Rowan Summer Tweed that I also bought in London, in a color that was not available in the US. I designed the sweater myself, it was my second one in the same design as the first one, also in Summer Tweed, was knit at a looser gauge and stretched quite a bit.”
